Floating Knurl Holders for screw machines

Our floating knurling holder attaches to the cross slide and can be used as a 1-roll bump holder, or as a 2-roll floating holder for the ultimate in knurling control. Using 2 rolls divides the cutting action between two knurls, making for better cutting and a better finish for diamond patterned knurls.

Need to burnish a part behind a shoulder?
We'll custom-make special burnishing rolls for your knurl tool holder. Burnishing improves part finish and mechanical properties and is especially useful for shafts and rotating parts.

No Room on the Cross Slide?

Use our end-slide burnishing holder to quickly knurl your parts from the main tool slide.

This holder style is available for most screw machines.
